How a tiny little hamster will change the world
A tiny little hound is going to change the way we look at how we use space, according to the creators of a new kind of home appliance.
Hammers are small and light, weighing just under five kilograms, but they’re surprisingly effective at cleaning up your kitchen floor.
“You can put a hamster on a table in your kitchen, and it will make a big splash,” said one of the inventors, Daniel P. Shipp.
It also has a number of other applications, such as making a dishwasher cleaner.
Shipper says his company is currently working on a more compact model that will be able to do more than just sweep.
“We don’t want to just make one hamster,” Shipper said.
“We want to make the best, most efficient home appliance in the world.”
He’s not alone in this vision.
Earlier this year, Google unveiled a model of a tiny home made of wood and fabric that could fit inside a car and could also be used as a toilet.
While it has yet to be widely marketed, the company’s website suggests that a hamsters-shaped toilet could help reduce water waste.
While these products might be cool and novel, they’re also a far cry from the traditional kitchen, which requires a lot of wood, a stove and a bunch of pots and pans to heat a room.
Shippers hopes that his home appliance will be a much better fit in the home environment.
“I would be happy to share my hamster with anyone who wants to try it,” Shipp said.
