How to protect your bed frame from bed bugs

When you’re not in bed with your family or friends, you might not be aware that your bed frames are covered in bed bugs.

If you’re a family member who is prone to getting bed bugs, here’s how to protect yourself from these common bed bugs while you’re in bed.

1.

If possible, don’t sleep in a bed that has no mattress.

A mattress may be the best option for preventing bed bugs if you don’t have a bed frame to keep your family safe.

2.

If the mattress is too close to the bed frame, the bed bugs can get trapped in the mattress and spread to the mattress frame.

3.

The bed frame should have a drainage hole in the middle.

The hole should be about 1.5 inches (4 cm) deep.

4.

The mattress should be designed with an airtight seal, or it can fall apart and spread the bugs to the surrounding surfaces.

5.

A well-designed mattress also helps prevent bed bugs from spreading into the mattress bed frame.

6.

If there are two mattress frames, make sure they’re different sizes and sizes of the mattress, too.

7.

If your mattress is not designed for the mattress to spread bed bugs to, it’s probably a bad idea to sleep in the bed that’s covered in bugs.

8.

If a mattress frame has an open seam, bed bugs may get trapped inside it and spread into the bed.

9.

You should be able to see the bed frames frame from the outside if it’s covered with bed bugs and there’s no drainage hole.

10.

A bed frame that has a drain hole is also likely to be a good choice if you’re having a hard time sleeping and want to keep the bugs at bay.
